When I first met Pam, I knew that I had met someone who would change my life. She taught me so much and was a great source of comfort and advice when I was fighting with my children or frustrated with something going on in my life. She was a true friend whom I could talk to about anything, and she would give great, no-frills, common sense advice. My sons enjoyed visiting with Pam; she always cracked them up and reminded them to behave as gentlemen. Her love of family, Duke University, wine and chocolate, her late husband, her dog Willie, LIFE, and PEOPLE will always be the composite memory that I have for her.
